Melbourne Architectural Photographer
I have always loved photographing architecture. From the moment that I was gifted my grandfather’s Pentax screw mount lens camera and wandered off to take pictures of the local parish church, I developed a lifelong fascination for documenting buildings.
I began my career in London photographing shops, offices, shopping centres and airports during the design boom during the early 1990’s. At the time I was using a 5 x 4 inch Sinar plate camera, which enabled me to capture the correct architectural perspective in my images. Today I use a combination of specialised tilt shift and ultra wide angle lenses to document the entire project, switching to high quality prime lenses for the details.
Having worked for a large multi-disciplinary design consultancy I am very experienced at interpreting the story behind the design in the final imagery.
